For over 35 years, K&N Engineering has been making filters with one compelling force in mind: the customer. How do we give him more horsepower? How do we improve his driving efficiency? These are questions that we continually ask and seed answers for using our world wide R&D facility equipped with multiple state-of-the-art Dynamometers that test vehicle's power and emissions.
We also perform field testing - both in the street and racing environment - conversing with both hard core enthusiasts and everyday users, so that we may validate our internal research findings as well as receive customer input to begin with. And for added peace of mind that cannot easily be offered by other manufacturers, K&N filters are tested by independent laboratories for air flow, filtering efficiency, and dust retention using standards set by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE). We are proud to say that from these inquiries, specifically with the SAE J726 air filter test, K&N filters have achieved an overall efficiency rating of over 99%.
What have been the other results of our lifelong commitment to our customers?
